My love of anything having to do with dolls and dollhouses started long before I became a serious doll collector. As children, dolls are our playmates, our best friends, and (in the dark of the night) sometimes our protectors. This web page is a place for me to share with other doll lovers of all ages, the dolls I have spent my whole life collecting. Make sure to click the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page in order to see the whole collection.

Patricia Rose Dolls

I adore anything made by the doll artist Patricia Rose. I probably own more dolls made by her than any other artist. These days Patricia Rose only makes one of a kind dolls that cost thousands of dollars, but there was a time when she made collectible dolls like the ones in my collection that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Oh for the days before she became famous. I'm glad I got these while I could. If you'd like to see some of the fantastic works of art she is creating these days check out her offical website.

  1. Would you be interested in purchasing the actual 'Delta Dawn' that won the DOTY 1991?

  2. I'm afraid I have far too many dolls for my own good already. But thanks so much for offering! Ebay might be a good place to find a buyer. I'll bet there would be a lot of interest in such a beautiful doll there! :)

  3. I too love Patricia Rose dolls and I have at least two of them maybe more. I wish I would have purchased more before the prices for her work got so high. I also have Seymour Mann dolls and collect Gone with the Wind character dolls. I love all my dolls and want to add to my collection.

  4. I have a Gibson Girl type doll, it is a Mother 20" tall, dressed in white lace, with a baby also dressed in white lace, with a white lace baby carriage with brass wheels and handle. Do you know anything about it? I thought it was Franklin Mint, it has that look, but someone told me it is a Patricia Rose. Do you know the value?

If so, these are the "Endearing Moments" dolls, part of the Tender Moments Collection by Patricia Rose. I'm afraid I don't know anything about pricing. I bought mine years ago. Trying looking them up on ebay and online to see if anyone else knows.

    Good luck
