My love of anything having to do with dolls and dollhouses started long before I became a serious doll collector. As children, dolls are our playmates, our best friends, and (in the dark of the night) sometimes our protectors. This web page is a place for me to share with other doll lovers of all ages, the dolls I have spent my whole life collecting. Make sure to click the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page in order to see the whole collection.

Tour of a Hutch Converted into a Christmas Dollhouse

I saw a picture of a dollhouse that someone had made out of an old hutch and immediately knew I had to create one for myself. It took a while to find the right hutch. It took even more time to convert and decorate it like a dollhouse. I have a Halloween dollhouse and a Valentine's Day dollhouse, so I decided it was time to make a Christmas dollhouse. The pictures below are of the final product. Click on the pictures to zoom in.

The Ultimate Pink Dollhouse Accessory!

I've been working on updating my pink dollhouse--adding more pink items to froufrou the place up as much as possible. I've been wanting to make a pet for the dollhouse for some time and finally got the most brilliant idea. Why not give the house a pink poodle! I bought a regular white poodle, painted and flocked it in pink--and then decked her out in a princess crown and fancy pearl collar. I of course had to give her a prissy pink dog bed, a pearl studded leash, and some fancy dog dishes. Here is the finished product.Click on the pictures to zoom in for a detailed look.

I also made a tiny Breyer horse model for the dollhouse playroom. I used to collect Breyer models when I was a kid and knew I had to have one for my dollhouse. A pink one, of course.
