My love of anything having to do with dolls and dollhouses started long before I became a serious doll collector. As children, dolls are our playmates, our best friends, and (in the dark of the night) sometimes our protectors. This web page is a place for me to share with other doll lovers of all ages, the dolls I have spent my whole life collecting. Make sure to click the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page in order to see the whole collection.

Pet Shop Room Box

I have recently discovered the joy of making miniature room boxes. This is my newest project--a miniature pet shop. It's even lighted, and believe you me, that was no easy feat. I'm no electrician, I can tell you. But it all turned out quite nicely in the end, don't you think? Click on the pictures to get a closer look.

OOAK 1/144 Scale Dollhouse (Itsy Bitsy House)

You would not believe how much time it takes to make something this small. Much more than it would take to build a normal sized miniature. You drop any item from a project this small over a carpet and you'll never find it again. Those little books on the bedroom shelf--I had to remake way too many of those to replace the ones that kept disappearing when I accidentally dropped them. The teddy bear had to be remade three times. This dollhouse is smaller in reality than pictured.

Mermaid Dollhouse Tour

Here is the mermaid dollhouse that I made from scratch. I converted some old shelves and used scrapbook papers as wallpaper. It was way too much fun! Notice the tiny mermaid teddy bear. I hand sculpted the mermaid doll myself. She came out beautifully! Click the photos to see more detail.
