My love of anything having to do with dolls and dollhouses started long before I became a serious doll collector. As children, dolls are our playmates, our best friends, and (in the dark of the night) sometimes our protectors. This web page is a place for me to share with other doll lovers of all ages, the dolls I have spent my whole life collecting. Make sure to click the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page in order to see the whole collection.

Pink Dollhouse Tour

This is the latest dollhouse I've been working on. It is smaller than my large ten-and-a-half room mansion. No working lights, but lots of pink! Notice that a miniature copy of my own book, Forbidden Sea, is lying on the study chair as if someone has been reading it. What can I say, author's prerogative. : )

Dollhouse Necklace

I love dollhouses so much I thought I make a miniature one to wear with me wherever I go. One day I wore it at the library and felt a little tug on the necklace. When I looked down, I found a toddler reaching out her tiny hand to touch it, with a big smile on her face. It was so sweet. Her father had to pull her away in the end.

Fashion Dolls

I will sometimes purchase fashion dolls for my collection, but only if I think they look like a character from a book. (Notice the Nancy Drew doll.) Then I can use them for displays at the library I work at. The kids love it!

New Doll for My Collection

This is the newest addition I've just purchased for my collection. Isn't she gorgeous?
