My love of anything having to do with dolls and dollhouses started long before I became a serious doll collector. As children, dolls are our playmates, our best friends, and (in the dark of the night) sometimes our protectors. This web page is a place for me to share with other doll lovers of all ages, the dolls I have spent my whole life collecting. Make sure to click the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page in order to see the whole collection.

Micro Minis

These are two quarter inch scale dollhouse miniatures that I recently made. This scale is difficult to work in because it is so darn small. I've got an entire dollhouse that I'm fixing up in this size and sometimes I wonder what I've gone and gotten myself into. The tiny tea set on a pink shelf is one inch long, if you can believe it. If you look closely, you will see that the tiny birdcage actually has three little birds perched on it. They were a pain to paint I can tell you that. There was a fourth bird, but it fell into the carpet while I was working on it, where it was lost never to be seen again.
