Dollhouse Miniature Puppet Theater with Marionettes

I've been working on a brand new dollhouse lately. I've been adding all kinds of fun little toys to go in the playroom. I bought the miniature dolls  pictured above on Etsy and added strings to make them marionettes. The stage I made from a small wooden crate, to which I added lace and embellishments.

I recently decided to refurbish my Halloween Dollhouse, it was getting a little worn out. This is a hutch I made to go in it. If you will notice the ghost inside the crystal ball and the fireflies in a jar both glow in the dark when a black light is put on them. I'll post pictures of the final Dollhouse when it is all complete.

Paper Doll Cases Made From Altoid Tins

Who didn't love playing with paper dolls as a child? I used to do my chores faithfully when I was a little girl, so that I could earn my allowance and buy new paper dolls at the store to ad to my collection. I also used to cut out and create my own from the pictures in an old Butterick's pattern catalog I got from the fabric store. One of my favorite paper doll projects is to create a paper doll wardrobe out of an old Altoid tin. (Like the one pictured below) It is extremely easy to find free paper dolls on the web. All you have to do is decorate a box home to go with them. If you really want to get fancy, you can print off more than one copy of each outfit and cut it out in layers, thereby giving it some 3D texture, like I did. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
