Mermaid Sculptures

I've started work on a series of decorative mermaid sculptures that I plan to hang on the wall of my bathroom. (which is mermaid themed) This is the first sculpture completed. Others will soon follow. I want them to have different colored skins and hair, like the mermaids in my novel, Forbidden Sea. I'll post pictures here as I finish each one.

Halloween Treat

Halloween decorations are already up for sale at most stores around here, so I thought I'd post this Halloween treat a little early. Click here to visit a blog that is all about the adventures of a cute little ghost doll as she does her haunting at night. Glow-in-the-dark dolls are going to be all the rage now--I can feel it in my bones.

Pink Dollhouse Tour

This is the latest dollhouse I've been working on. It is smaller than my large ten-and-a-half room mansion. No working lights, but lots of pink! Notice that a miniature copy of my own book, Forbidden Sea, is lying on the study chair as if someone has been reading it. What can I say, author's prerogative. : )

Dollhouse Necklace

I love dollhouses so much I thought I make a miniature one to wear with me wherever I go. One day I wore it at the library and felt a little tug on the necklace. When I looked down, I found a toddler reaching out her tiny hand to touch it, with a big smile on her face. It was so sweet. Her father had to pull her away in the end.

Fashion Dolls

I will sometimes purchase fashion dolls for my collection, but only if I think they look like a character from a book. (Notice the Nancy Drew doll.) Then I can use them for displays at the library I work at. The kids love it!

New Doll for My Collection

This is the newest addition I've just purchased for my collection. Isn't she gorgeous?
